Special rules & exceptions
- Visa-exempt entry requires a formal passport (ordinary, official/service or diplomatic). Emergency, temporary and other informal travel documents are not accepted, except that US nationals may enter on an emergency passport.
- North Macedonia: the visa exemption is effective until 31 March 2030.
- Eswatini and Tuvalu passport holders whose passport data page records place of birth as Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, the People's Republic of China, Syria or Yemen are not eligible.
- Honduras: diplomatic and official/service passport holders are not eligible, nor are Honduran passport holders whose place of birth is recorded as the People's Republic of China.
- United Kingdom: only passport holders with British Citizen status are eligible.
